We at McLennan Adam Davis, solicitors, encourage clients to leave Wills, but it is interesting that in general individuals dying without leaving a Will of any description outnumber individuals who die leaving a Will. It is estimated that 53% of the UK population do not have a Will.

A Living Will should perhaps be termed an advanced medical directive. 

A Will is an important document which allows you to make an informed decision and express your wishes as to what is to happen to your property after your death.

The Chancellor has now announced a Special IHT exemption for family homes in his recent budget.
